Join us on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Berkshire Country Club to hear Lisa Hoffman, Executive Director of Pathstones by Phoebe talk about Understanding Long-Term Care Options and Costs and the Implications for Financial Planning. More than 70% of people will need long-term care as they age, yet only 10% have planned financially. In this session, gain an understanding of the costs and challenges associated with long-term care and the planning needed. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

12:15-1:30 pm | During lunch, we will discuss the membership levels in the proposed amended Bylaws. Following that, Lisa Hoffman will present.

 

Bio | Lisa Hoffman, MBA, Executive Director

Lisa is responsible for the overall operations of Pathstones by Phoebe https://pathstonesbyphoebe.org/, a continuing care-at-home senior service line that operates as part of Phoebe Ministries, a leader in senior care in Eastern Pennsylvania for more than 120 years. In this capacity, she oversees the development and implementation of Pathstones' comprehensive programs and service offerings, which help active older adults stay well and maintain their highest level of independence. Before this position, Hoffman served as Senior Director/Senior Vice President of Member Services at LeadingAge PA, an association of nonprofit senior service providers. Before LeadingAge PA, she worked in the finance and business offices of Phoebe Ministries in Allentown, PA, and Moravian Hall Square in Nazareth, PA. In addition to working in senior services, Hoffman has experience in the insurance industry and has held a Pennsylvania insurance license. Using her combined experiences in senior services and insurance, she has helped countless seniors and their families navigate the challenges associated with health care and insurance services. She graduated from Allentown College of St. Francis DeSales with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and an MBA from DeSales University.

First-time guests can attend for free but must be accompanied by a current member of the Berks County Estate Planning Council. A guest fee of $75.00 will be charged for subsequent visits after the first free visit.
